The
Story
The
story of the film is about a psychopathic homophobe who is holding a grudge on
a gay couple for being gay. First of all the man is stalking one of the boys in
the couple, knowing that if he comes for one of them, the other would want to
find him and rescue, where the man can make a move on the other boy in the
relationship.
Camera
Shots
During the filming, we managed to fit into the film lots of camera angles. however we did not manage to include the high angle and low angle shots. This was because we did not get time to do so, as the deadline for when the films had to be finished had been passed.
Each shot that we included in the film had a reason behind it, for example. The rolling shot for when the protagonist goes to investigate the noise, indicates that he does not know what is going on and is intrigued by it. I think that this successfully conveys the emotion of the character, although the shot could have somehow been improved upon.
Technical Abilities
In the first scene of the film, the camera could of been held a little more steady than what it already is. The unsteadiness of the camera takes away from the feel of the movie. I believe that each shot was shot in the appropriate camera frame. Although, in regards to the steadiness of the camera, I think that that can be improved upon.
Overall
I think the most positive element of the film is the plot and how the story unfolds, I think the plot is original and clever. I also think that the idea behind each shot shows imagination and skill. I also think that the transition between scenes are fluent and
uninterrupted. This gives the film a more flow and makes the audience feel like they are not watching a film. In terms of improvements, I feel that the story is still very good, however more elements could have been introduced to it to make it more relatable to everyday life, to draw in the audiences attention.
